The Table Catering recently catered an elegant garden party style wedding in Berkeley for ~60 guests. The passed hors d'oeuvres and plated dinner tasted fresh & delicious and the presentation looked intentional & refined. Nicole went above & beyond by coordinating event rentals not only for serving food & drinks, but everything to make the couple & guests comfortable including sun umbrellas for the cocktail hour & outdoor heaters for the reception dance party. The catering staff was professional & proactive—assisting the bartenders with their setup & mid-event bar location move. Excited to work with The Table Catering & Nicole again!

The Table catered our wedding, and did a fabulous job. Catering is a big part of the work and expense of a wedding, so we were pretty nervous about getting this right. Nicole was the easiest and most accommodating person to work with, both right off the bat among the ~6 different caterers we did initial intake interviews with, and all the way through to the big day itself. It was very clear that she and her team had catered plenty of weddings like ours and understood what we were looking for. We wanted high-end sustainable California cuisine at a reasonable price for a wide range of dietary needs -- easy, right? Nicole and Peter helped us develop a menu (including a little bit of customization) that our carnivorous and vegan relatives alike were delighted with. The whole team did a fantastic job on the day of!

The Table catered my wedding and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made! From the very beginning Chef Peter and Nicole's love of food, love for their craft, and their professionalism shone through. My fiance and I did tastings with three over caterers but no one came close to The Table. Their menu is creative, healthy, and one of a kind. The day of the wedding there was more than enough food to go around. All our guest raved about dinner, and every member of the catering staff was prompt, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. I'd enthusiastically recommend The Table catering to anyone.

If you’re considering The Table Catering, just hire them already. We had The Table cater our wedding last month, and they handled everything: dinner, cocktail hour, late-night bites, and event staffing. Simply put, they were phenomenal. Our dinner featured spinach salad with berries, house-made bread, lemongrass chicken over risotto, short ribs in wine reduction over polenta, summer squash, and melon. Nicole, one of the owners, personally made sure we were fed, checking in with us multiple times throughout the night. I never thought I’d be raving about melon at my wedding, but here we are! And as for the short ribs—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor—I can practically still taste them as I write this. The cocktail hour grazing boards were just as spectacular. Their focus on fresh, local ingredients really stood out in every bite. For such high quality, their pricing was incredibly fair. Our reception was at Children’s Fairyland in Oakland, a sprawling park with no traditional kitchen spaces. We had food and drinks set up in three different areas of the park, each timed perfectly. Peter and Nicole are so lovely to work with, not to mention their delicious food! They catered a mixer for our gallery and we highly recommend them for any catering needs. Their commitment to using locally sourced ingredients truly sets them apart. The Stuffed Mushrooms and the Curried Chicken Gougers were not only fresh and flavorful but also beautifully presented. So incredibly tasty! They are professional, attentive, and clearly passionate about their craft.
